The Men’s Probus Club of Skegness founded 1974
January 27 th   2016 Skegness Men’s Probus Club   The Annual General Meeting was held at the Vine Hotel, Skegness . The Presidential changeover saw the transferring of the chain of office from Trevor Ainsworth to John Boreham. Gordon Cartwright was appointed Senior Vice President and Tom Hedges Junior Vice President.
Three Club Members spoke on the following: David Riggs spoke on His Love Affair with Cars - in particular one of his early purchases an Austin Healy 100. In the 1950s it cost around £1,063 equivalent to £34,000 today. John Turner spoke on love of aircraft and The Farnborough Air Show. His interest started as a boy seeing bombers returning from war missions through to the early super-sonic jets. Tony Crowther captivated members with two humorous poems  entitled Three Half Pennies a Foot  and How to Give a Cat a Pill.
